If you change nothing, nothing changes.

I’ve changed everything. Or at least quite a bit.

I can still lie like a flatfish though - let’s just say the ‘two suitcases’ of stuff I intended to end up with, roughly equals a carload and make that the end of it.

I’ve been in Tāmaki Makaurau a week now. Clearing customs was easier than I thought, as was adjusting to the time difference.

I had no idea what was going to happen once I got here, but the rule was say yes to whatever came along. What I was really looking forward to was catching up with friends I hadn’t seen in ages.

Rachel invited me to dinner. She made an amazing Greek lemon chicken, marinated in olive oil, oregano, garlic, and of course lemons.

"I don’t do dessert Rachel informed me beforehand. Suited me. I was back on the keto. Aucklanders have a work around for everything though.

“Chocolate? she offered, once the plates were cleared.
